• Χειρουργός Ουρολόγος, εξειδικευθείς στην λαπαροσκοπική χειρουργική, ρομποτική χειρουργική και ενδοουρολογία στην Γαλλία, Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και Ισπανία. Συγκαταλέγεται ήδη μεταξύ των εμπειρότερων λαπαροσκοπικών χειρουργών στην Ελλάδα με βάση τον αριθμό και το είδος των λαπαροσκοπικών επεμβάσεων που έχει πραγματοποιήσει. Εκπαιδευτής λαπαροσκοπικής χειρουργικής στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό, σε πανεπιστημιακά, δημόσια και ιδιωτικά νοσοκομεία. 

• Με έντονη επιστημονική δραστηριότητα στα δρώμενα της ουρολογίας στον διεθνή χώρο, είναι μέλος σε 4 επιτροπές και ομάδες εργασίας της Ευρώπαικής Ουρολογικής Εταιρείας, στο European Association of Urology (EAU) Guidelines Office, το τμήμα που εκπονεί τις κατευθυντήριες οδηγίες (guidelines) της EAU, στο European Board of Urology Examination Committee, στο τμήμα που κατοχυρώνει μετά απο εξετάσεις τον τίτλο Fellow European Board of Urology στους Ευρωπαίους Ουρολόγους και στο European Association of Urology Patient Information Working Group. 

• Διατηρεί έντονο ερευνητικό ενδιαφέρον, με έμφαση στην ογκολογία του ουροποιητικού συστήματος. Τα αποτελέσματα των μελετών του έχουν δημοσιευθεί στα εγκυρότερα επιστημονικά ουρολογικά περιοδικά και περιλαμβάνονται στα συγγράματα σημεία αναφοράς της σύγχρονης ουρολογίας. 

• Έχει συνεχή και ενεργό ρόλο στα επιστημονικά δρώμενα της Ουρολογίας τόσο στον Ευρωπαϊκό όσο και στον Ελληνικό χώρο:
